This topic came up for me this week as I learned that a co-worker from years back recently died from a heart attack on November 27th, 2021 at only 53 years young. 

He was such a fun-loving family man. Please take time to spread love to your family and friends while we can today. There are some things that we can do today to prevent a heart attack. Below is a brief list and to hear my thoughts on each, please listen to the podcast.

  3. Keep Eye On Cholesterol

  4. Lower Blood Pressure

  5. Close Your Rings (Be Physically Active Every Day)

  7. Manage Diabetes

  8. Reduce Stress

  9. Limit Alcohol

With these tips in mind, let’s be mindful of our daily choices and make the rest of our lives the best of our lives. 



Marie Geary Covers 2021 km in 2021

Every month many on my social media have seen me shout out to individuals who reached a certain amount of miles walking, jogging, or running. 

I started a 2021 km challenge for the year 2021. 

That equals 1255 miles for the year. 

1. Marie G. knocked it out in ONLY 11 months! 

2. Marie never ran for a second (She walked the whole thing) 

3. Marie used several of these walks as a way to raise money for amazing charities.
