Quote of The Week:

What we do every day matters more than what we do once in a while. -Lewis Howes

It felt good to get out for this 5-mile run early in the morning. We ran over the 9th Street Bridge in Somers Point to Ocean City, and back.

As great as it was to run with Leonard on Global Running Day, I paid for it later. On this day the air quality was very poor. Due to the fires in Canada, pollution made its way down the east coast. After our 5-mile run together, we both mentioned that it was a challenge to breathe. At first, I thought that it was just from the run and how we pushed ourselves. Later my throat was sore that night helping me to realize that it was the poor air quality that we ran through earlier.

Keep in mind the air quality before heading out for a run. When it says Air Quality is Poor; People with heart or lung disease, older adults, children, or teens:

  • avoid physical activities outdoors.

The very next group training day, for our members were moved indoors to the Hamilton in More. Due to the poor quality air quality we all walked 3 miles inside.

The very next group training day, for our members were moved indoors to the Hamilton Mall. Due to the poor air quality, we all walked 3 miles inside.

Happy running my friends. -Coach Tadris
